Dear Rosebud Families,

ROSEBUD FUNDRAISER
Thanks to each family participating in the Dine and Donate at Mary’s Pizza on Wednesday. As of this writing, it will be a big success. We also enjoyed the company of at least 65 Rosebuds at our Family Potluck on Friday the 18th. It was a busy September, and October looks like it will full of opportunities, too.

The Church of the Roses will present a forum concerning the H1N1 flu on Sunday, October 4th at 11:30am. You are invited to attend this informative event.

HALLOWEEN
Halloween is celebrated many ways in Santa Rosa. The preschool has found that offering a Family Fall Carnival works well for our young children. We have games, fishing, face painting, cookie decorating, and a light lunch for all. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 10:30am until 12:30pm in the preschool classroom. Costumes are welcome. No masks or weapons, please. We will have a sign up sheet to plan for the number attending. Friend are welcome. This event is geared toward young children to early elementary age children.

EMERGENCY BAGS
Parents have been updating and creating Emergency Bags for the children enrolled in preschool. Thank you for providing items that may be needed during an emergency. In the event of a disaster that makes our room unsafe, we will gather in Bowen Hall, the large room at the south end of the parking lot ,or across the street at The Boys’ and Girls’ Club. We will be practicing drills throughout the coming months.
